Buvette’s debut album "Houses and the Voices" is out

Watch out : the modern pop music is coming from the Alps !

BUVETTE has just released his debut album on his own label ROWBOAT.

Coming from the Swiss Alps, going global : Cédric Streuli aka BUVETTE is about to shake up the pop music landscape by weaving electronic, equally bright and mild sounds into rhythmically challenging patterns, enrichening them with his voice, and producing results that have earned him justified comparisons to Animal Collective member Panda Bear. Buvette has shared the stage with anti-stars like Devendra Banhart, noise heroes like Black Dice and contemporary musicians like Atlas Sound or Toro Y Moi and played New York as well as the Montreux Jazz Festival. A true wizard.

“HOUSES AND THE VOICES” is  a combination between late-night loops, delays, handclaps, kicks and true lyrics. And you can feel the influence of sunny  beats, lonely melodies, windy shoegaze and lo-fi hymns. Thirty friends and family members sing on the track “BOTTLES”. Most of the loops have been recorded in Cédric’s room and the whole album in a small studio in the mountains of Leysin.
