CIVIL CIVIC TO PLAY ATP MELBOURNE

Two part Human and one part machine (The enigmatic ‘Box’) CIVIL CIVIC have been creating quite a stir in Europe over the last couple of years. Touring like animals playing festivals with the likes of Spiritualized and The XX, hyped up by UK press (NME, Q, Artrocker, The Guardian, Clash) and buzzing around the blogs with enough speed to land them at the pinnacle of blogdom: Number 1 on the HypeMachine charts.

There’s a question that most journalists end up wishing they never asked, where is CIVIL CIVIC from? One guy lives in Barcelona, the other in London, they are both Australians, but CIVIL CIVIC have never played in Australia. So where is the band from? Who’s to say?

Well now to make the story straighter, for the first time ever, CIVIL CIVIC will be touring the home of it’s creators. And it is eagerly anticipated by their die hard fans. So come and cop their giddy, fizzy, pummelling, melodic sounds as the CC noise machine drops a bomb on home turf.
