“The Gateways” explores what is beyond our space horizon and the cosmic terrain that waits a human arrival. Through the science fiction viewfinder of the Techno producer and artist Jeff Mills, star fields, nebulas and galaxies are captured through the reception of an imaginary cosmic doorway. Initially designed for a conceptual art and film project for the Palace of Versailles, this concept is expanded and adapted for a live performance of electronic music sound and abstract dance.

Mills invites dancer Raphaelle Delaunay to join the concept with her exceptional representations and impressions of the concept in five storied segments designed to guide the audience from one space and time to the other.
