We love and support : Pierre Bastien (UK tour)

The surrealist inventor and composer Pierre Bastien and the fantastic Polish toy orchestra Małe Instrumenty on their first UK tour this month ! This magical musical event enters the tiny world of beguiling, entertaining and original music created from meccano, toys and small instruments.

Pierre Bastien has been building musical machinery since the 70s and has worked with Issey Miyake, Robert Wyatt plus numerous video artists, film makers, dance and circus companies. He has released material on Aphex Twin’s excellent Rephlex label and will bring his latest ‘automatic orchestra’ to the UK for his debut UK tour.

Sharing the bill is Male Instrumenty, a fantastic five piece orchestra of toys and small instruments from Wroclaw, Poland. They create original, entertaining music from a vast array of tiny instruments to explore an exciting and entertaining world of sound.
