NEW ON ROSTER : ARANDEL

Arandel, a talented French musician has been working for several years now in the electronic sphere without revealing his real identity. His new project, Switched on Bach, refers to the album of American transgender composer Wendy Carlos. Arandel proposes here a hybrid performance – between live and DJ-set – mixing remixes, re-readings, recompositions and rearrangements of more or less known pieces of the immense Bach repertoire. Arandel also plays a cinemix on “Les Vampires”, a 1916 French silent crime serial film written and directed by Louis Feuillade, and some very special dj sets mixing classical and pop music.
